    The Ellis County Master Gardener Association invites you to be a sponsor for the 2008 Lawn and Garden Expo that will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the Waxahachie Civic Center. The sponsorship opportunities and promotional benefits are listed on the following page. Applications for booth space rental will be mailed to you in January 2008.

   The primary purpose of the Master Gardener program is education.  Our organization agrees to use 100% of all sponsorship dollars received to fund horticultural education through community grants and scholarships.  We offer scholarships to students pursuing horticultural education.  Additionally, grants are made available to community nonprofit organizations and agencies whose activities further horticultural education.  Your support of the Expo will allow us to offer these educational opportunities to all Ellis County communities.

   During the past year, our Junior Master Gardener Program has really taken off.  Ellis County Master Gardeners are bringing horticultural education into our schools by working with teachers and students in a classroom setting to explore, demonstrate, and utilize hands-on projects to make horticulture exciting and practical. We provide books, hands-on experiences and other fun activities that captivate young audiences. Your sponsorship provides the means for us to continue this education.

   Ellis County Master Gardeners are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and your sponsorship will be used to support our efforts in providing student horticultural scholarships and other community horticultural education projects.  Consult your tax advisor concerning your tax advantages. 

   Sign up today to sponsor the Expo and support your local community.  Register by February 15 to ensure your logo is included in all local Expo publicity.
